Terms of sale and license

These terms are an agreement between you and Suman Maharjan ("I", "me"), the independent developer who makes Mopup. By downloading, installing or using Mopup, or by buying a license, you agree to them.

Who sells Mopup

Mopup is made by Suman Maharjan. You can reach me at support@mopup.online.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also covered by Paddle's buyer terms.

Price and payment

A license is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The price is shown on this website and at checkout, in US dollars. Paddle takes the payment and adds sales tax or VAT where it applies.

Trying Mopup

You can download Mopup and scan your Mac for free, for as long as you like. For 14 days after you first open it, every feature works. After that, cleaning needs a license.

Your license

When you buy Mopup you get a personal license to install and use it on every Mac you own or control. Updates are included at no extra cost.

Mopup is licensed to you, not sold. I keep all rights in Mopup, its code, name and design, beyond the license these terms give you.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• share your license key publicly, or resell it;
• modify, copy or reverse engineer Mopup to get around the license check;
• use Mopup or this website for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's rights;
• pay with a card or account you aren't allowed to use, or commit any other fraud;
• attack, probe, overload or scrape this website or its license service, or use them to spread malware.

What Mopup does to your files

Mopup removes the files and folders you select, and stops the processes you choose to stop. It is designed to offer only what your tools can rebuild, to mark anything you might want back as "Your call", and to refuse source code, git history and documents. Even so, you decide what gets removed, so look at what you select before you clean, and keep a backup of anything important, for example with Time Machine.

No warranty

Mopup is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. I don't promise that Mopup or this website will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data, and my total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Mopup. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Refunds

You can get a refund within 30 days of buying, for any reason. See the refund policy.

When a license ends

Your license ends if your payment is refunded or charged back, or if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by reselling your key, committing fraud or attacking this website. You can stop using Mopup at any time.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. The terms in place when you bought apply to that purchase.
